North Charleston, Apr 5, 2024 - The efforts of North Charleston's patrol officers have resulted in the confiscation of 45 illegal firearms in the month of March. The agency's dedication to reducing the number of illegal weapons on the streets has led to significant progress in enhancing public safety.

"Our agency is dedicated to reducing the number of illegal firearms on the streets of North Charleston," stated a representative. "In March, our patrol officers confiscated 45 guns that were either being carried illegally or possessed by individuals who were not authorized to own them."

The proactive measures taken by the officers did not stop at confiscation, as they were able to make 44 arrests as a direct result of their operations. This underscores the commitment of the agency to enforcing firearm laws and holding individuals accountable for illegal possession.
