The North Charleston Police Department (NCPD) proudly welcomed Officer Megan Singleton to their ranks in a ceremony that highlighted the importance of familial support and community commitment. The swearing-in ceremony, led by Deputy Chief Johnson, was a moment filled with pride and warmth as Officer Singleton embarked on her journey with the agency.

A heartwarming and personal touch was added to the ceremony as Officer Singleton's seven-year-old son, Ronin, played a significant role. Dressed in a miniature police officer uniform, Ronin pinned his mother's badge onto her uniform, symbolizing not only the beginning of Officer Singleton's career with the NCPD but also the unwavering support and dedication of her family. This touching moment underscored the tight-knit bond within the law enforcement family and the community they serve.

"We are thrilled to have her on board and are confident in her ability to be a positive force in North Charleston. Welcome to the NCPD family, Officer Singleton," expressed the NCPD. The department looks forward to Officer Singleton's contributions making a meaningful impact on the lives of the citizens they are sworn to protect.

As Officer Megan Singleton embarks on this new chapter in her career, the NCPD stands united in support of her mission to serve and protect the community of North Charleston.
