This week, the Coastal Crisis Chaplaincy hosted a pastoral crisis intervention class at North Charleston City Hall. Attendees included local chaplains who will be assigned to support local first responders, including the North Charleston Police Department (NCPD), the North Charleston Fire Department, the community, and survivors.

Leaders of the Ukrainian police patrol chaplain’s organization, which leads and trains Ukrainian public safety chaplains, were also present. The chaplains addressed the evening shift before officers commenced their duties.

The agency expressed gratitude for the chaplaincy's support.
