Officers from the North Charleston Police Department (NCPD) took part in the Travis Manion Foundation 9/11 Heroes Run on Daniel Island this past Saturday. The agency was recognized with two awards: Top Peer Fundraising Team and Top First Responder Team Participation.
In a statement, NCPD expressed gratitude to all agencies and citizens who participated in the event to honor those lost on September 11, 2001. "We want to thank all of the agencies and citizens who came out today to honor those who we lost on 9/11."
