The City of North Charleston has announced the 11th Annual Harvest Festival, scheduled for October 19, 2024. The event will feature live music, an artist market, costume contests, trick-or-treating on the street, a petting zoo, and various children's activities. The festivities will be held in the Olde Village of North Charleston on East Montague Avenue near Park Circle from 4:00-7:00 pm. Admission and parking are free.

East Montague Avenue will be closed to vehicular traffic from Jenkins Avenue to Virginia Avenue starting at 2:00 pm and will remain closed for the duration of the event.

Live music will be provided by NattyGrass, a reggae bluegrass fusion band. Children's activities include games, crafts, roving entertainers, inflatables, and more. An artist market featuring local artists and crafters will line East Montague Avenue alongside festive treat vendors. Additionally, many restaurants in the Olde Village will offer food and drink specials.

Other highlights include trick-or-treating on the street with free treat bags for children aged 12 and under (from 4:00-6:00 pm while supplies last), a pop-up petting zoo with Crosswind Farms, a mechanical bull, photo booths, and costume contests with categories for youth, groups, and pets. Prizes for these contests will be provided by the City of North Charleston Recreation Department and the Park Circle Business Collective. Participants should line up for judging at 5:45 pm as contests begin at 6:00 pm.

The annual Harvest Festival is a rain or shine event produced by the City of North Charleston in collaboration with the Park Circle Business Collective. Vendor applications for the artist market are being accepted through Friday, October 11 without any application fee. Applications can be found at www.northcharleston.org/residents/special-events/harvest-festival.
