The House Committee on Homeland Security has published a report addressing the implications of current border policies under the Biden-Harris administration. Key findings include the apprehension of 388 individuals on the terrorist watch list, a significant increase in drug seizures, and issues with the asylum system. The report highlights that nearly 200,000 Americans have died from fentanyl poisoning and thousands of criminal aliens have been released.

Congresswoman Nancy Mace commented on the findings: "This failure is too big to be accidental. The Biden-Harris administration intentionally dismantled our border security. This isn’t a talking point; this is reality." She further stated, "More than 64 executive actions taken by Biden-Harris have incentivized illegal immigration and allowed criminal cartels to exploit our borders, flooding our streets with dangerous criminals and facilitating the flow of deadly fentanyl into our country."

Mace also added, “And apparently according to the radical Left, protecting all women doesn’t include American women and girls…”

Efforts to address these concerns include introducing and supporting over 60 pieces of legislation aimed at securing the border and protecting citizens. Some notable bills are:

- H.R. 7909 - The Violence Against Women by Illegal Aliens Act

- H.R.2 - Secure the Border Act of 2023

- H.R.7511 - Laken Riley Act

- H.R.6170 - Border Security and Terrorism Prevention Act
