Mace addresses tele townhalls, fraud, and local economic growth

Representative Nancy Mace, currently serving South Carolina’s 1st congressional district, has taken to social media to voice her perspectives on recent issues. Her posts highlight her engagements and concerns within her role, as well as personal experiences that have impacted her and her team.On April 11, 2025, Mace addressed concerns over media coverage of tele townhalls, which her congressional office regularly conducts. Referring to an incident involving threats against her and her contacts, Mace stated,

"We do tele townhalls frequently. This is normal operating procedure of any hard working Congressional office. P&C never covers them in the ‘news’ except this one time when leftist lunatics make physical threats of me, my kids and my employees. Hell, we had someone threaten to”.In another post from the same day, the representative expressed her views on aging and fraud. She tweeted,

"Age is not just a number. This is fraud and should be treated at such.".Additionally, Mace shared her meeting with the South Carolina Bankers Association to discuss economic contributions, stating,

"We met with the South Carolina Bankers Association to talk about their work driving economic growth in the Lowcountry and beyond.".

Nancy Mace is currently serving in the U.S. Congress, representing South Carolina’s 1st district. She replaced previous U.S Congress member Joe Cunningham in 2021.

Nancy Mace has served in the U.S. Congress, representing South Carolina’s 1st District, since 2021. She previously served in the South Carolina House of Representatives from 2018 to 2020.

Nancy Mace, 45, was born in Fort Bragg, North Carolina, in 1977. She currently lives in Charleston.

Mace graduated from The Citadel in 1999 with a BS.
