Rep. Nancy Mace has expressed criticism of the Biden-Harris administration's decision to trade Viktor Bout, a notorious arms dealer known as the "Merchant of Death," for a basketball player. She claims that Bout is now involved in weapons deals with Iran-backed Houthis.

Mace stated, “The Biden-Harris administration traded a basketball player for the ‘Merchant of Death,’ Viktor Bout, and now he’s back in the game, brokering weapons deals with Iran-backed Houthis. We warned them this would happen, but once again, this administration's blind obsession with pandering over sound policy has put our allies at risk.”
