The City of North Charleston Cultural Arts Department is inviting artists across various disciplines to participate in the 2025 North Charleston Arts Fest. The event, scheduled from April 30 to May 4, will take place at multiple venues throughout North Charleston, South Carolina.

Artists specializing in music, theatre, dance, visual art, media art, and literature are encouraged to submit their proposals. The department welcomes applications from both regional and local artists as well as community organizations. Opportunities are available for stage performances and talent presentations through exhibitions, lectures, demonstrations, workshops, and more.

Applications must be submitted by midnight on Sunday, December 15, 2024. Artists needing assistance with the application process can arrange a one-on-one meeting with the department either over the phone, virtually, or in person.

The selection process involves an Arts Fest review panel that will choose participants from all artistic disciplines. The aim is to curate a lineup of free events suitable for diverse venues and appealing to a wide range of audiences.

Now in its 42nd year, the North Charleston Arts Fest is a five-day celebration featuring concerts, theatre presentations, dance performances, exhibitions, installations, children’s programs, workshops, demonstrations, and more. It offers free admission to all events as part of its commitment to inclusivity and public engagement with the arts.
