The North Charleston Police Department (NCPD) has launched a campaign to support communities affected by Hurricanes Helene and Milton. The initiative, titled "Fill the Cruiser," seeks donations of non-perishable goods for those impacted in North Carolina and Florida.

Items requested include blankets, cool weather gear, canned foods that don’t require a can opener, toiletries, basic first aid kits, batteries, and flashlights. Donations can be dropped off at the vehicle stationed outside North Charleston City Hall located at 2500 City Hall Lane. Alternatively, items can be taken to either of the department's other two bureaus during regular business hours.

"We appreciate your support!" stated the NCPD.

South Bureau is located at 3401 Rivers Avenue and North Bureau is at 2238 Otranto Road.
