Last night, a mother and her two children were involved in an accident with a tow truck while crossing Ashley Phosphate Road at Stall Road. Their family dog ran away from the scene following the incident.

As officers and emergency medical services attended to the victims, Captain Rick Keys took on the task of finding the missing pet. He located the dog in a nearby motel parking lot and successfully called it over.

"We are pleased to report that the mother and her children are doing okay and have been reunited with their pet!"
