Nancy Mace addresses gender identity and immigration in recent tweets

Rep. Nancy Mace, a member of the U.S. Congress representing South Carolina's 1st district since 2021, recently shared her views on social media regarding gender identity and immigration policies. Mace, who has been an active political figure since replacing Joe Cunningham in Congress, expressed her opinions through a series of tweets.

On December 6, 2024, Rep. Mace commented on gender identity issues by stating "Too bad the beard, Adam’s apple, build, and outfit show that you most definitely do not belong in the women’s room." This tweet reflects her stance on transgender individuals' use of public restrooms.

Later that day, she addressed immigration policies with another tweet: "Illegal aliens 'permanent residency' here ends on January 20th." This statement indicates her position on terminating certain residency statuses for undocumented immigrants.

Continuing her discourse on immigration terminology, Rep. Mace posted at 18:37 UTC: "'Undocumented' isn’t a real thing—illegal aliens aren’t just missing some paperwork. If you cross the border unlawfully, you’re breaking the law. The correct term is illegal alien. Plain and simple." Her remarks emphasize her belief in using specific legal terminology when discussing immigration status.
