Rep. Nancy Mace, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing South Carolina's 1st district, recently shared a series of tweets highlighting her uncovering of serious crimes within her district. These posts provide insight into her experiences and intentions to address these issues.

On February 11, 2025, Rep. Mace tweeted about discovering evidence related to sex trafficking and other criminal activities: “When I uncovered evidence of sex trafficking, rape and illegal filming and photographing of women, I didn’t just see victims—I saw a system which failed to protect them.”

In another tweet on the same day, she elaborated on the gravity of the crimes she stumbled upon in November 2023: “In November 2023, I accidentally uncovered some of the most heinous crimes imaginable—rape, nonconsensual photos and videos of women and underage girls, and the premeditated, calculated exploitation of innocent women in my district.”

Further expressing her resolve to confront these issues on February 11, 2025, Rep. Mace stated: “Today I am going to free myself from the monster who broke me. Today I will free other women who fell prey to the same man. Today I will free other women further from a group of men who committed the most evil acts against them.”
