Rep. Nancy Mace, a U.S. Congresswoman representing South Carolina's 1st district, recently made several public statements via social media regarding issues of victim advocacy and ongoing investigations. Her comments highlight her active involvement in addressing these concerns.

On February 11, 2025, Rep. Mace criticized the delayed provision of a victim’s rights advocate to an unnamed individual. She stated, "They’ve known about this victim for months. And only because of the threat of my very public speech did they finally give her a victim’s rights advocate." Mace expressed that it was regrettable such measures were necessary to secure appropriate support for victims.

Later the same day, she responded to Brian Musgrave's dismissal of her claims as baseless and lacking evidence by pointing out that she had documented evidence with metadata. She noted an ongoing investigation confirmed by SLED, stating "In Brian Musgrave’s denial he said my claims are “baseless” and without a “shred of evidence.” He must have missed the part of my speech where I said I “documented” evidence with “metadata.”

Continuing her discourse on February 11, 2025, Rep. Mace addressed John Osborne's denial of her allegations during a phone interview where he described them as "categorically untrue." In response, she reiterated accusations made in her previous speech about viewing incriminating material involving Osborne and Patrick Bryant on Bryant's phone: "To John Osborne... 'I cannot unsee what you did to this young woman' in a rape tape I uncovered on Patrick Bryant’s phone."
