Rep. Nancy Mace, a U.S. Congress member representing South Carolina's 1st district, recently shared a series of tweets addressing serious allegations and concerns. Her posts reflect on statements made by S.C. Attorney General Alan Wilson and her own discovery of crimes against women in her district.
On February 11, 2025, Rep. Mace criticized S.C. AG Alan Wilson for allegedly providing false information to the SC House GOP. She stated that "S.C. AG Alan Wilson spoke to the SC House GOP earlier today, telling them lies." Mace accused him of lying about his awareness of an investigation and claimed that her hotline was actively receiving valuable information.
Later that day, she recounted uncovering severe crimes against women in November 2023. In her words: "In November 2023, I accidentally uncovered some of the most heinous crimes against women imaginable—rape, nonconsensual photos and videos of women and underage girls..." This revelation highlighted the exploitation occurring within her district.
In another tweet posted on February 11, 2025, Rep. Mace elaborated on what she considers betrayal concerning these crimes: "Betrayal is raping an incapacitated woman... Betrayal is filming rape." She expressed strong condemnation towards acts involving hidden cameras and non-consensual recording.
