Rep. Nancy Mace, a U.S. Congresswoman representing South Carolina’s 1st district, recently shared a series of tweets discussing sensitive topics she addressed in a speech. Her remarks focused on issues such as love, rape, voyeurism, and sex trafficking.

On February 12, 2025, Rep. Mace tweeted about the confusion between love and criminal acts like rape and sex trafficking that she discussed in her speech the previous Monday night. She expressed strong sentiments regarding these topics by stating: "Confusing love with rape, voyeurism, and sex trafficking as I discussed in my speech Monday night, is a helluva way to go down."

Later that day, Rep. Mace mentioned Eric Bowman in another tweet. She alleged that Bowman had libeled her and another victim following her speech. In this post dated February 12, 2025, she wrote: "One of the men I disclosed in my speech Monday night, Eric Bowman, has now 'allegedly' libeled me and one other victim." She further described an incident involving Bowman where he reportedly hit someone with a golf cart.

In another tweet from February 12, 2025, Rep. Mace referred to John Osborne's comments published in a newspaper article where he labeled her actions as "unfair." She responded by quoting from her speech about an alleged sexual assault involving Osborne at Eric Bowman's home: "John Osborne...was quoted in the paper this morning calling me 'unfair.' What's unfair...is: '[Osborne] sexually assaulted her at the home of Eric Bowman.'
