The City of Charleston has announced that its offices will be closed on Monday, February 17th in observance of President’s Day.
City services will adjust their schedules accordingly for the holiday. Public service crews will operate on a one-day delay during the week starting February 17th. As a result, Monday routes will be collected on Tuesday, Tuesday routes on Wednesday, Wednesday routes on Thursday, and Thursday routes on Friday.
Trident Waste services, which cover Johns Island and outer West Ashley, will maintain their regular schedule throughout the week of February 17th. Similarly, Capital Waste services for Daniel Island and Cainhoy will also follow their normal timetable.
In terms of recreational facilities, the Municipal Golf Course will remain open to the public on President's Day. However, all other recreation facilities managed by the city will be closed.
All city offices will resume normal operations following the holiday closure.
