After twelve years at the helm of the Ocala Metro Chamber & Economic Partnership in Florida, a new leader has taken charge of the Charleston Metro Chamber. This transition marks a fresh start for him as he embraces his role with enthusiasm and commitment to the community.

He expressed his excitement about joining an organization known for its impactful work. "I am incredibly excited and honored to join this community and lead an organization with a NATIONAL reputation for doing truly impactful work," he stated. He emphasized that the chamber's plans will positively impact the community's future through advocacy, workforce, and leadership initiatives.

The new leader outlined several key areas of focus, including attainable housing, affordable childcare, future-ready education, and regional transportation development. He also highlighted ongoing initiatives such as veteran engagement, support for professional businesswomen, leadership programs, and economic opportunities. "There is only one direction for our community and that is forward," he affirmed.

Acknowledging the challenges ahead, he reassured the community of his dedication to working collaboratively. "Now, I know this may seem like a lot, but it reflects my commitment to working alongside each of you," he said. Despite being new to the office environment himself—"while I may have walked into the wrong office just moments ago"—he remains confident in achieving great things together.

Community members are encouraged to introduce themselves at upcoming events like Impact on February 26 or Coffee with the President on March 11. The leader concluded by inviting collaboration: "Tell me about your business, what you love about the community and how the Chamber can partner with you to make a difference."
