Rep. Nancy Mace, a member of the U.S. Congress representing South Carolina’s 1st district since 2021, has taken to social media to share her legislative initiatives and concerns about immigration policies. Known for her strong stance on immigration, Rep. Mace recently posted several tweets addressing these issues.

On March 6, 2025, Rep. Nancy Mace tweeted a brief message urging persistence: "Hold the line."

Later that day, she announced new legislation with a tweet stating: "Now introducing the No Tax Breaks for Sanctuary Cities Act to make sure sanctuary cities don’t get special tax perks while ignoring federal immigration laws. No freebies for sanctuary cities." This initiative aims to prevent sanctuary cities from receiving certain tax benefits.

In another tweet posted on March 6, 2025, Rep. Mace highlighted concerns about criminal activity in sanctuary cities by referencing a specific case: "Remember when sanctuary mayors told @GOPOversight they weren't releasing r*pists, m*lesters, p*dophiles, and m*rderers? Meet Jose Fernando-Perez, an illegal Guatemalan citizen charged with three counts of forcible r*pe of a child and three counts of aggravated r*pe of a child.…" This post underscores her critique of how some cities handle individuals who have committed serious crimes.
