The City of Charleston has announced the return of its Small Business Opportunity Expo for 2025. The event will take place at The Gaillard Center in Charleston, South Carolina, on Tuesday, April 1st, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Registration is required for attendance.

This year's expo aims to bring together industry leaders and creatives from across the city. It will highlight underrepresented, disadvantaged, veteran, minority, and women-owned businesses. The event will include exhibits, demonstrations, and presentations intended to encourage discussion and collaboration.

Participants can attend free workshops covering topics such as access to capital and legal basics. There will also be presentations by successful business owners and government agencies.

Ruth Jordan, Minority and Women-Owned Business Development Manager, stated: "Building on the success of last year, we’re thrilled to offer this free expo again, providing small businesses with valuable resources to help them thrive in 2025." She added that the expo is designed to connect entrepreneurs with essential tools and guidance for growth.
