Mount Pleasant home prices rise in the third quarter of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2018 in Mount Pleasant rose by $11,375 while total sales decreased by 8.8%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2018, there were 385 homes sold, with a median sale price of $431,250 - a 2.7% increase over the $419,875 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 422 homes sold in Mount Pleasant in the third quarter of 2017.

The median sales tax in Mount Pleasant for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $1,649, approximately 0.4% of the median home sale price for the third quarter of 2018.
