Congresswoman Nancy Mace of South Carolina has announced a new resolution aimed at restricting restroom access for transgender women in the U.S. Capitol. The proposal seeks to prevent transgender women from using restrooms designated for biological women, reflecting Mace's commitment to what she describes as protecting women's rights.
"The sanctity of protecting women and standing up against the Left’s systematic erasure of biological women starts here in the nation’s Capitol,” stated Rep. Nancy Mace. “We are standing up for women, protecting their spaces, and restoring a bit of sanity to Capitol Hill. The Left screams TERF politics, we call it putting women first.”
The resolution is set to be formally introduced on Monday night and would amend existing rules within the U.S. House of Representatives. It aims to prohibit Members, officers, and employees from accessing facilities not aligned with their biological sex. The responsibility for enforcing this rule would lie with the House Sergeant at Arms.
