Charleston home prices rise in November 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in November 2020 in Charleston rose by $65,000 while total sales decreased by 18.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In November 2020, there were 152 homes sold, with a median sale price of $330,000 - a 24.5% increase over the $265,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 187 homes sold in Charleston in November 2019.

The median sales tax in Charleston for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $1,635, approximately 0.5% of the median home sale price for November 2020.
