South Carolina Oak to Barrel is building a new factory in Bamberg County and with it are coming new jobs, according to a press release from Gov. Henry McMaster's office.
The $6.8 million facility at 3914 Main Highway in Bamberg will employ 122 people and should be operating by year's end.
“South Carolina Oak to Barrel, LLC is honored to bring our operations to Bamberg," CEO Dagney Johnson said in the governor's office release. "Our woman-owned business produces the highest-quality whiskey and wine barrels in the region and beyond."
