important notices and information
Kiawah Island Entrance Sign Replacement
The Town has finished replacing our two Kiawah Island entrance signs at the main gate and roundabout. The new signs are custom roadside monument signs fabricated from western red cedar timbers on a concrete base with a raised brushed aluminum Kiawah Island logo. Combined with the Kiawah Island Parkway upgrades and new landscaping completed last year, the newly updated signs create a more welcoming entrance to the island for residents and guests.
The next King Tide that could affect the island will occur December 3-7. King Tides are the highest seasonal tides that naturally happen each year. In some cases, they may barely even be noticed. In other cases, a King Tide may cause flooding of low-lying areas and disruption to daily routines. More
