Washington, D.C., July 22, 2024 – In response to mounting concerns about President Joe Biden's cognitive health and his recent decision to withdraw from the presidential race, the Office of Congresswoman Nancy Mace has introduced a resolution urging Vice President Kamala Harris to invoke the 25th Amendment and assume presidential duties.

“The American people not only deserve but require a president who is fully capable of leading our nation. President Biden's recent actions - delegating critical duties and withdrawing from the race - are not just concerning, they're alarming,” said Congresswoman Nancy Mace. “Our resolution calls on Vice President Kamala Harris to invoke the 25th amendment because right now our national security, border security, and economic stability hang in the balance of a man who doesn’t know where he is. It's beyond clear that President Biden can no longer fulfill the duties of his office. This is precisely why the 25th Amendment exists.”

The resolution highlights a series of events that have raised serious questions about President Biden's ability to govern. Despite efforts by the White House and mainstream media to downplay these concerns, the evidence has become undeniable.
