This includes a record high of 2.48 million encounters recorded for the fiscal year ending in 2023. Under this administration, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) sources have confirmed over 1.7 million known gotaways at the Southern border. These figures are a clear indication of the current administration's failure to control our southern border.
