The Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce has announced the appointment of Nick Johnson as the new Senior Vice President of Finance and Operations. In his new role, Johnson will be responsible for leading financial strategy and operational efficiency to support the Chamber's mission of promoting regional economic growth.

His strategic insight and dedication to fostering growth will be invaluable as we navigate the evolving needs of our membership and the broader business community. We are confident that Nick’s leadership will have a lasting impact on our Chamber and the Charleston region."

Before joining the Chamber, Johnson was Director of Financial Planning & Analysis at Graham Media Group in Detroit, Michigan. There, he led a team focused on optimizing financial performance through process improvements and data-driven insights.

Johnson's career in media finance includes roles with TEGNA and Dispatch Broadcast Groups, where he oversaw both TV and radio stations. His work emphasized analytics and financial reporting, making him a key resource for forecasting, budgeting, and fiscal responsibility.

Expressing enthusiasm about his new position, Johnson said, "I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to join the Chamber. With a strong passion for data storytelling and delivering actionable insights, I look forward to supporting informed decision making and driving operational efficiency." He added that he is eager to enhance reporting for stakeholders while serving as a strategic partner to leadership teams.

Originally from Columbus, Ohio, Johnson holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Toledo and an MBA from Ohio University. He currently resides in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina with his family.
