Congresswoman Nancy Mace issued a statement regarding the situation involving hostages held by Hamas. She expressed concern over the conditions faced by those in captivity, stating, "Every day these hostages remain in their hands is another day they are subjected to unspeakable horrors." Mace described Hamas as "a savage group using civilians as bargaining chips," and criticized their actions as demonstrating "complete disregard for human life."

She further emphasized that the conflict extends beyond Israel, asserting, "This is not just a war against Israel—it is a war against humanity itself." The Congresswoman criticized the current administration's response to the crisis, saying, "This administration’s delay in taking action only enabled Hamas to extend this suffering."

Mace called for decisive measures to address the situation: "We cannot, and will not, let this stand. Every single person held by Hamas must be brought home, and those responsible for these heinous acts must be held accountable." She also mentioned former President Trump's readiness to act decisively if needed: "President Trump is ready to take action on day one—he will not hesitate to reign Hell over Hamas and ensure the safety of every hostage still in their grasp."
