Representative Nancy Mace from South Carolina has been reappointed as the Chair of the Subcommittee on Cybersecurity, Information Technology, and Government Innovation for the 119th Congress.

Expressing her commitment to the role, Rep. Nancy Mace stated, “Under Chairman Comer’s leadership, we have an opportunity to ensure our government is secure, efficient, and prepared for the challenges of tomorrow.” She emphasized the need to focus on protecting taxpayer dollars and addressing cyber threats to build a stronger future for Americans.

Chairman James Comer of Kentucky praised Mace's leadership and past contributions. He remarked, “Representative Nancy Mace is a proven leader who will continue advancing the Oversight Committee’s efforts to ensure the federal government leverages modern technology to enhance efficiency and security." He acknowledged her previous work in leading hearings on artificial intelligence, IT modernization, and cybersecurity.

This marks her second term as chair of the subcommittee.
