Nancy Mace warns Lowcountry residents of potential threats on social media

Representative Nancy Mace, serving the 1st District of South Carolina in the U.S. Congress, recently posted a series of tweets concerning safety and public events in the Lowcountry area. On March 27, 2025, Rep. Mace addressed several issues through her social media account, indicating a heightened sense of urgency regarding public safety.

In an early tweet, Mace expressed a concern by stating "GM Whitley poses physical danger to all Lowcountry residents." It directly refers to an individual she believes warrants public caution within the area she represents.

Later that day, she tweeted a terse "Nasty woman" suggesting additional context and critique possibly linked to the ongoing situation.

Later in the afternoon, Rep. Mace warned residents against attending a public event, tweeting “We encourage residents NOT to attend the town hall tomorrow due to the high risk of violence. Paid Left agitators trying to scare everyone in the Lowcountry. These disturbing, threatening and violent comments are a clear sign of the chaos they want to create. These are not the” She highlighted what she regards as the potential for chaos instigated by external forces.
