Nancy Mace, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing South Carolina’s 1st district, has recently shared a series of posts expressing her reactions to recent incidents involving violence and threats. On April 14th, 2025, Mace addressed these events through her tweets, providing her sentiments and responses.On April 14, 2025, Rep. Mace expressed her emotions regarding an undisclosed incident by stating,

"This is absolutely disgusting. Our hearts break for the Shapiro family and the entire Jewish community during this Holy Week. Lock this monster up and throw away the key. He should never see the light of day again." Her words emphasized sympathy for the affected individuals and strong condemnation of the perpetrator.Later that evening, Mace reported on Twitter about the arrest of an individual for threatening violence against herself and other prominent figures. "Just in: Another Leftwing Lunatic JAILED after threatening to assassinate me, President Trump, VP Vance and AG Pam Bondi. FAFO." The post highlighted immediate law enforcement action in response to the threat.Following this, Mace further detailed the arrest of a specific individual. On the same day, at 23:25:40 UTC, she shared,

"A man named Shawn Monper from Butler, Pennsylvania, was arrested for making violent threats against multiple public officials—including the President, the Vice President, myself, and potentially others like Pam Bondi. One of his posts said, ‘If I ever see her unprotected in." This tweet provided additional details about the suspect and his alleged threats.

Nancy Mace has served in the U.S. Congress, representing South Carolina's 1st District, since 2021. She previously served in the South Carolina House of Representatives from 2018 to 2020.
