In a tweet dated April 15, 2025, at 14:51 UTC, Rep. Mace voiced her opinion on a matter involving the potential return of an MS13 gang member to the United States. She wrote, "Dems want to fly some MS13 gangbanger back to the U.S. like he’s some sort of hometown hero."

Later the same day, at 15:25 UTC, she expressed her admiration for the decisiveness of certain world leaders, referencing President Nayib Bukele of El Salvador. In her post, she stated, "If only more world leaders had Bukele’s backbone."

Nancy Mace serves in the U.S. Congress, representing South Carolina's 1st District, since 2021. She replaced former U.S. Congress member Joe Cunningham. Previously, Mace served in the South Carolina House of Representatives from 2018 to 2020. She holds a degree from The Citadel, graduating in 1999 with a Bachelor of Science.
