Rep. Nancy Mace criticized Vice President Kamala Harris for her financial support of Legal Aid DC, a group known for advocating the defunding of police and expanding sanctuary city policies. Mace's comments come amid rising violent crime rates and concerns over law enforcement resources.

“While Washington, D.C. was grappling with a crime crisis, Kamala Harris chose to fund Legal Aid DC—a radical group which has repeatedly advocated for defunding the police and expanding sanctuary city policies," said Mace. "Amidst soaring violent crime and a weakened police force, Harris’s support for this anti-law enforcement nonprofit demonstrates a shocking disregard for the safety of Americans."

Mace further added, "She is focused on policies championed by leaders who seem more interested in scoring political points. She is the most unfit vice president.”
