Congresswoman Nancy Mace issued a stark warning about the future of cyberwarfare following a significant data breach affecting nearly 3 billion people.

"This breach of National Public Data should be a wake-up call. Our government is unprepared for the cyber threats of today, let alone tomorrow," Mace stated. "Cyberwarfare is the battlefield of the future, and right now, we're losing. The privacy of every American and the security of our nation are at stake."

Mace emphasized that despite the nation's technological capabilities, current measures are insufficient to protect against such breaches. "There is no reason this should be happening with the talent and tech our nation possesses. It’s time to cut the bureaucracy and start protecting Americans, our government and our national security."
