Officer Andrew Marshall has been recognized as the Employee of the Month for September 2024 by the NCPD. The recognition comes after Officer Marshall's decisive actions during an incident involving a business in the North Bureau that had suffered break-ins and vandalism, causing significant damage.

On September 26, during a squad briefing, Officer Marshall informed his colleagues about the situation at the business. Afterward, he took it upon himself to visit the location and found someone inside committing vandalism. He monitored the suspect and provided information to other officers who responded to the scene. The officers then surrounded the building and apprehended the suspect as he tried to flee through a back exit.

At that time, there were limited leads and no video surveillance available regarding previous burglaries at this location. "We are proud of Officer Marshall for a job well done!" stated an NCPD representative.
