Rep. Nancy Mace, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing South Carolina’s 1st district, has been vocal on social media about issues related to women's rights and LGBTQ+ matters. On November 20, 2024, she posted a series of tweets addressing these topics.

In her first tweet, Rep. Mace acknowledged Sarah McBride's commitment to adhere to Speaker Johnson's policy as "a step toward acknowledging the rights of women everywhere—something we’ll continue to demand without compromise." The post can be found here.

Later that day, she expressed support for gay marriage and mentioned voting for the Respect for Marriage Act twice. However, she emphasized a stance against allowing individuals with male anatomy in women's bathrooms by stating: "We support gay marriage... if you have balls we don't want you in the women's bathroom." Finally, Rep. Mace addressed reports about receiving death threats over a trans bathroom bill by asserting that she had publicly shared one of those threats herself.
