Rep. Nancy Mace, who has been serving in the U.S. Congress representing South Carolina’s 1st district since 2021, recently shared her views on various issues through a series of tweets. These tweets covered topics from gender-affirming care legislation to wildlife conservation efforts.

On December 4, 2024, Rep. Mace commented on the Supreme Court's hearing regarding a Tennessee law that bans gender-affirming care for minors. She expressed her disapproval of the proceedings by stating "SCOTUS is hearing arguments today on the Tennessee law that bans gender affirming care for kids. Seems like a waste of taxpayer dollars to us."

Later that day, she tweeted another statement concerning her stance on gender-affirming medical procedures for children. She asserted that such practices are equivalent to child abuse and expressed hope that the Supreme Court would understand this perspective: "Castrating kids, cutting off their body parts, overdoses of hormones, it's all child abuse. We hope SCOTUS gets it."

In a separate tweet posted on World Wildlife Conservation Day, December 4, 2024, Rep. Mace highlighted her environmental initiatives and dedication to preserving wildlife and natural habitats in South Carolina's Lowcountry region. She mentioned legislative efforts such as the introduction of the North American Grasslands Conservation Act and opposition to offshore drilling: "Today is World Wildlife Conservation Day! From introducing the North American Grasslands Conservation Act to protect and restore vital grasslands, to opposing harmful offshore drilling, we are dedicated to preserving our Lowcountry environment and wildlife."
