Rep. Nancy Mace, a U.S. Congress member representing South Carolina’s 1st district, recently shared a series of tweets addressing her stance on gender-affirming care and parental roles in education. These statements were made on December 4, 2024.

In her first tweet, Mace announced plans to take matters to the Supreme Court of the United States (SCOTUS). She questioned the influence of pharmaceutical companies and educators in parental roles by stating, "We're heading to SCOTUS to stand up for our kids and these parents; since when did Big Pharma and teachers get promoted to 'Mom and Dad'?"

Later that day, she directed a message towards protestors outside SCOTUS regarding gender-affirming care. She labeled it as child abuse with the statement: "My message to the lunatics protesting outside of the SCOTUS: 'gender affirming care' is child abuse." She concluded with "Get help. #HoldTheLine."

Finally, Rep. Mace expressed concern over what she perceives as social experimentation on children by tweeting, "Our children are not guinea pigs in the radical Left's dangerous social experiment." She used "#HoldTheLine" to emphasize her stance.
