Rep. Nancy Mace addresses Capitol incident and support from Trump

Rep. On December 11, 2024, Rep. Mace reported being physically accosted on Capitol grounds due to her efforts to protect women. She stated that the Capitol police had arrested the individual involved. Mace emphasized that "all the violence and threats keep proving our point" and reiterated her commitment to ensuring women's safety: "Your threats will not stop my fight for women!"

Later that day, she posted a brief message urging perseverance with the phrase "Hold. The. Line."

In another tweet on the same day, Rep. Mace mentioned a conversation with former President Donald Trump, expressing appreciation for his support: "Thank you, Mr. President, for checking in on me and for standing up for women." She expressed anticipation for his potential return to the White House.
