Rep. Nancy Mace expressed support for the Department of Veterans Affairs' decision to fund research into MDMA-assisted therapy for veterans with PTSD. In a statement, Rep. Mace highlighted the importance of finding effective solutions for veterans who have made significant sacrifices.

"The VA’s decision to fund research into MDMA-assisted therapy for veterans with PTSD is a step toward providing real solutions for those who’ve sacrificed so much," she said.

Rep. Mace has been a strong advocate for research into alternative treatments and previously urged the FDA to approve MDMA-assisted therapy last year. She also supports legislative efforts aimed at expanding access to such therapies.
