Rep. Nancy Mace has addressed a disturbing incident in Berkeley County where a dozen cats were poisoned to death. In her statement, she condemned the act, emphasizing the need for strict legal consequences.

“This sickening act of cruelty against innocent animals is absolutely unacceptable and must be met with the strongest possible consequences under the law," said Rep. Mace. She expressed gratitude towards the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office for their efforts in seeking justice.

Rep. Mace highlighted that violence against pets is intolerable in South Carolina, stating, "Violence like this against our pets has no place in South Carolina."
