The 33rd annual Reindeer Run is set to occur on Saturday, December 14, 2024, in Downtown Charleston. The race will commence at the intersection of Meeting Street and Market Street and conclude on North Market Street beside the Charleston Place Hotel. Participants will head south on Meeting Street toward White Point Gardens and along the battery. The race route will be closed starting at 7:45 am and remain inaccessible until the event ends.

Parking restrictions have been announced for specific areas during the event. On-street parking will not be allowed in several locations including Meeting Street within 200 feet of South Battery Street, South Battery Street between Meeting and King Streets, King Street between South Battery Street and Murray Boulevard, and Murray Boulevard between King Street and Tradd Street. Vehicles parked in these areas must be removed by 5:00 am on December 14 to avoid being towed.

Access for vehicles to certain businesses and residences will be restricted during the race hours. Officers will be present along the route to assist with traffic management and neighborhood access.
