Rep. Nancy Mace has issued a statement addressing violence against women, particularly in light of her recent experience of being accosted. In her statement, she expressed concern over the tactics employed by what she describes as "the far left."

"The far left has gone beyond the pale, resorting to violence and intimidation to silence anyone who dares to challenge them," Mace stated. She described her recent experience as part of a broader pattern that includes "riots, death threats, and even assassination attempts which have become their playbook."

Mace addressed those she believes are responsible for such actions: "To the far left: your attempts to bully and intimidate won’t work. You’ve only shown us why we need to keep pushing back."

She also extended support to women who feel threatened or unsafe, stating, "To every woman who has felt targeted, threatened, or unsafe: we see you, we hear you, and we’re standing with you." Mace emphasized the importance of continuing efforts until all women can live without fear.

"This isn’t just politics anymore," she asserted. "This is about defending democracy and ensuring the safety and freedom of every woman in America." Concluding her message with a personal note, Mace declared, "This is personal."

Her statement ended with the hashtag "#HoldTheLine."
