Charleston police seek help identifying suspect in King Street assault

The Charleston Police Department is seeking public assistance to identify a suspect involved in an assault that left two people injured in downtown Charleston. The incident occurred on December 14, 2024, around 12:30 a.m., near the intersection of King Street and Hutson Street.

According to reports, the victims were attacked with an unknown object following an argument. They sustained non-life-threatening injuries and received medical attention. Detectives have released images of a male suspect believed to be responsible for the assault and a female who was present during the incident.
