Rep. Nancy Mace, a U.S. Congresswoman representing South Carolina’s 1st district since 2021, recently made a series of remarks on social media. Mace, who holds a Bachelor of Science degree from The Citadel and has served in public office since 2018, posted these comments on April 19, 2025.

In a post on April 19, Mace wrote "Waiting for the Left’s GoFundMe link." The comment was made without additional context, leaving its exact meaning open to interpretation.

Another tweet later that day simply celebrated the Easter weekend, stating "Easter weekend in the Lowcountry!" This message acknowledged the holiday while highlighting her connection to the Lowcountry region of South Carolina.

A more politically charged message was shared by Mace the same evening, where she addressed a policy stance on sanctuary cities. She pointed out, "Sanctuary cities were warned. @POTUS made it clear. Our No Tax Breaks for Sanctuary Cities Act finishes the job." This statement underscores her legislative efforts regarding sanctuary cities and federal tax breaks, emphasizing alignment with current administration policies.

Mace, born in Fort Bragg, North Carolina in 1977, resides in Charleston. She gained experience from her tenure at the South Carolina House of Representatives from 2018 to 2020 before joining Congress.
