Municipal Center to Close at 12 p.m. Friday, January 21
Due to the inclement weather forecast, the Municipal Center is closing at noon tomorrow, Friday, January 21. The Town is closely monitoring this weather event and is prepared to respond should conditions warrant.
According to the National Weather Service, freezing rain, ice on roads and bridges, and potential power outages are the biggest threat. Rain will transition to freezing rain Friday through early Saturday morning across southeast South Carolina with ice accumulations.
Please use caution and heed any warnings to stay off the roads. Power outages are also possible. Berkeley Electric has several resources available to report and track outages. Review the flyers below to ensure you are following the correct procedures:
