MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. (June 15, 2022) – Mount Pleasant Waterworks contractors will conduct lane shifts and close sidewalks along Whipple Road for approximately two months to perform utility work. The lane shifts will take place between Ware Bottom Lane and Long Point Road daily, during daylight hours. Pedestrian sidewalks along the east side of the road will be closed for the duration of the project. Drivers traveling in the area are asked to plan accordingly and exercise caution while driving through the work zone.
