In June, NCPD patrol officers confiscated 26 unlawfully possessed or illegally carried guns from city streets. As a result, 26 arrests were made.
"Our agency is committed to proactively addressing illegal weapons to prioritize the safety of our citizens and visitors," stated an NCPD spokesperson.
