The City of Charleston, through Bank On Charleston, will be providing a series of Financial Empowerment Workshops for youth and young adults during July. These workshops will be conducted virtually through Zoom. The first workshop will be on Thursday, July 11, from 10:00-11:00 a.m.

This one-hour virtual workshop will focus on creating a spending budget and a savings plan. Youth will be provided examples and resources to ensure they are equipped to replicate these efforts on their own.

The purpose of the workshops is to provide youth and young adults with information they need to take control of their financial future. The other two sessions this month will cover building credit, investing, and saving for retirement and will occur virtually on July 18 and 25 respectively.
